I welcome you to another season of joy, celebration and thanksgiving to the Almighty God who has graciously helped us through the years. His hands are all over what is happening here in Dominion.

The economic meltdown has brought many of the mighty and most powerful nations of the earth to their knees. Not only did some of these nations passed stimulus packages, but some companies had to be directly bailed out in order to avoid catastrophe impact to the economy. The financial storm has affected most spectrum of the economy and the confidences of many have failed them. A large percentage of the population is still in food stamp or in some sort of government assistance.

However, as children of God, our help does not come from man or does it comes from the world financial system. Psalm 121:1-3 says “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber”. God is still at work and that is why you will not be put to shame if you are a true child of God.

THE ROCK THAT NEVER FAILS

Psalm 18:2, 31-33

“The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold”

Our God is a Rock that cannot fail (Psalm 18:31-32). He did not fail Elijah when he confronted the 450 prophets of Baal. Elijah began by repairing the broken altar as the scripture says “And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that I have done all these things at Your word. Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that You are the LORD God, and that You have turned their hearts back to You again.” Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench. Now when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces; and they said, “The LORD, He is God! The LORD, He is God!” (Psalm 18:36-39). The Same God will never fail you because he will supply all your need according to His riches in glory through Christ Jesus!

May the same fire that consumed Elijah’s sacrifice consume every obstacle, disease, infirmity, struggling, joblessness, unpleasant situations, lack, failure, sorrow, sadness and loneliness in your life. In place of the above bring you joy, peace, abundance and fulfill your heart desires in Jesus name!

But remember, Elijah started by repairing the broken altar and a sacrifice. Is your altar broken
